EcoWorks International Haiti

EcoWorks International invests in Haiti's farming and fishing communities to break the cycle of hunger and poverty. By equipping them to become the nation's leading producers, we help create thriving, self-sustaining communities at the heart of lasting change.

Our Mission

We bolster Haiti's capacity to feed itself sustainably and build shared prosperity. We aim to break Haiti's persistent cycle of poverty and hunger by partnering with smallholder farming communities to adopt innovative agricultural practices, strengthen value chains, embrace new technologies, and access new markets. Alongside this, we integrate economic, social, and environmental initiatives to respond to community urgent needs. Our core goal: dramatically boost food production and significantly raise smallholders' incomes. This holistic strategy drives regional development – because strong regions build a strong nation.

Fighting Poverty & Hunger: We partner with rural communities to combat food insecurity through weekly food packages and resources that strengthen family livelihoods.

Fueling the Economy: Women are trained as merchants, supported with goat herds, and equipped with rollover loan funds to sustain their families.

Sustainable Development: We help Haiti’s smallholder farmers adopt environmentally responsible practices that protect resources and secure the food supply.

Community-Led Collaboration: By co-creating solutions, we established a registry for pregnant women and secured hospital partnerships to ensure safe births.

EcoWorks International has transformed our community by giving us the tools and knowledge to feed ourselves and build a sustainable future for our children.
