EcoWorks International Haiti

EcoWorks International invests in Haiti's farming and fishing communities to break the cycle of hunger and poverty. By equipping them to become the nation's leading producers, we help create thriving, self-sustaining communities at the heart of lasting change.

Our Mission

We bolster Haiti's capacity to feed itself sustainably and build shared prosperity. We aim to break Haiti's persistent cycle of poverty and hunger by partnering with smallholder farming communities to adopt innovative agricultural practices, strengthen value chains, embrace new technologies, and access new markets. Alongside this, we integrate economic, social, and environmental initiatives to respond to community urgent needs. Our core goal: dramatically boost food production and significantly raise smallholders' incomes. This holistic strategy drives regional development – because strong regions build a strong nation.

What We Do

Produce Food Sustainably: The gang-free, fertile northern region welcomed EWI to partner on reinforcing local rice production by adopting a proven innovative and regenerative rice production method which uses 30-50% less water, 60-90% less seeds, eliminates chemical fertilizers, and increases 50%-100% yields.

Launching First Regional Business Incubator: To drive regional economic growth, we're launching the area's first business incubator focused on agro-business and related sectors, supporting young entrepreneurs, early-stage businesses, and seasoned entrepreneurs.

Sustainable Growth: We're advancing agriculture and value chains that uplift communities and increase local earnings.

Empowered Through Knowledge: We invest in education and training to equip individuals and specifically women with tools for building business for lasting impact and self-sufficiency.

Healing the Land: Our initiatives restore ecosystems while promoting environmental stability and long-term security through blockchain technology and SRI method adoption.

Adopting Technology: This blockchain-based technology enables farmers to connect directly with international wholesale rice buyers who value its transparency and streamlined, tech-driven transactions.
